The man is a Berber. He and his family sell fossils of all kinds - and they also show interested people the old water holes. Here the water was pulled by winches. In the background you can see the hills of the water holes.

A fine portrait in a well composed picture. The young man is nicely surrounded by different parts of the old but well functioning wooden structure. It's a well exposed photo with fine colours.

A good documentary photograph with a no-nonsense note! I like the direct eye contact and the lack of a smile ("Say cheese"!). Also the fact that you've placed him to one side, so we can see lots of detailed information. An excellent environmental portrait.

Intéressante photo de ce puisatier berbère et du mécanisme utilisé pour récupérer l'eau. C'est en creusant les puits qu'ils trouvent les fossiles?

nice the view of the Berber young man try to get out the water from the holes.Unfortunately i saw these holes from the coach tour as we don't stop to see and to capture some details from the area.

Interesting to see the contraption that they have constructed to pull up the precious water from the holes. I like the man and his direct look dressed in traditional wear. Nice that he is sort of framed by the rope and pole drawing our attention to him. A good sharp and clear image to show some of desert life.
