Photographer's Note
A small kasbah in Dades Gorge in the Atlas Mountains, was shining in the afternoon sun in autumn.
I captured it composing with the red hill and needle-like rocks at 70mm.

Hello Hisashi - What a fascinating landscape. The warm low light has brought out the detail in the rock formations so well. Excellent colour saturation and contrast. Very well done! Best regards Rosemary

Hello Hisashi,
The transition from the fertile part of the landscape into the rough, barren rocks and mountains is very abrupt.
The houses of the village are all built in the same stone and the kasbah looks completely integrated into the rough surroundings.
Impressive landscape.

Hi Hisashi,
Impressive red desert rock formations that are all leaning to the right. Direction of light gives good contrast betwen sun and shadow. Colourful vegetation on the valley gives an idea how moisture gathers on lower regions.

Hello Hisashi ,
An excellent example of the fascinating landscape of Morocco . But it is rare to see this kind of view with the autumn colors . May be less contrast than with the green foliage in summer , but very interesting .

Hi Hisashi,
I admire great colors here. Most of photos from Morocco are kind of washed out of colors.
The landscape is fantastic, very tempting to buy a ticket there. Esoecially now when we have temperatures below zero.
Beautiful landscape, thanks for sharing,

A very fine and spectacular landscape. Those rocks formations are really impressive! I love the division between the wooded area and the barren one: a fine and great contrast. lovely light and colours too. Most enjoyable.

Hi Hisashi
A superb shot of this village nestling in the valley of Dades
I'm pretty sure that I have the same but not posted yet
Nice association of the natural colors, brown for the ground, green for the trees
Well composed
Have a nice day

Hello Hisashi,
A fine and impressive view captured in a superb light. This actually reminds me of some of your greatest pictures from Ladakh a few years ago. The barrenness of the mountains and the greenery of the valley are quite similar.

Gert

HI Hisachi!
FRom My trip to this place,I have no photos ,because I lost a filmroll in the desert.....
So I`m happy to see photos from there. It`s a bit unsharp in fore-and background but I like the colormix and the geological formations.
Oh man ,I miss this wonderful blue sky and sun on my skin ,I had ten days ago in Morrocco. Now we have minus 5 degree and 10 centimeters snow.......

Hi Hisashi
Memories, looking at your photograph of the Dades Gorge I remember my visit in 1986, when our car almost broke down. It looks like that the gorge did not change at all, it kept its charm. Beautiful well saturated color hues, very vibrant hues. Well done.
Warm regards

Hi Hisashi
i'm very impressed with this.
i've taken photos in the las vegas desert, and the lighting is so strong and intense...makes it hard to photograph.
you managed the strong sunlight very well.
the greenery in the FG is so important as it gives a constrasting colour and life.
well done my friend

Olá Hisashi,
Good light and colors of autumn.
The village in the background, almost unnoticed. Because it uses the same materials of the mountain. So there is no chromatic aberration. It is the preservation of the natural landscape. Well done and TFS.

Dear Hisashi-san
I think the key to this picture are the peculiar rocks in the BG, a product of differential erosion, which, thanks to te light & shadow gives a distinct 3D appearance. The kasbah in the FG, also drenched in that pastel light looks so small from this view. The contrast between the warm red rock colour & the green of the foliage is lovely!
Best Regards
Angshu

Hi Hisashi.
A wonderful composition, color contrast with the variety of shades of the trees and those red and barren hills of peculiar shapes, give an air of drama to the composition with the small town to its feet.
I wish you a happy New Year 2011.
Best regards.

Hello Hisashi,
There is a great deal going on here in your vision, foreground of autumn colors, sloping mountain side, pinnacles, ancient buildings, then more dramatic geology.
Congratulations, well done,

Many thanks for your kind words, dear Hisashi.
Why do I think of anti-satellite spying on Earth, by means of GoogleEarth?!
People living in those adobe dwellings probably fell confident about thier privacy!
Most spectacular desertic view enriched of autumnal "spices"!
My best regards.
