There are many beautiful old doors (which I love) of various colours and styles to admire in the delightful old 18th century port town of Essaouira.
The town has a wonderful relaxed atmosphere with a nice medina if you like shopping, or a nice beach if that is your preference. Also if you are into history and architecture it has that as well. So a little bit of something for everyone in a lovely setting, and of course great for photography too.

Good perspective!Specially i've admired the reddish door with the bicycle combination.

Surprising picture from Swira, I mean here this warm door as this city is more known for its blue hues as we can see a bit further, good luminous impression in this rather dark corner
Have a nice day JY

Hi Wanda. Strange that I haven't seen your work for a while- maybe i kept missing it or you are slowing down.I like this composition for its quietude, a heavy sort of stillness and strong textures and colours. Nice perspective too as everything disappears behind the earthy coloured tree. Regards. Klaudio.

Funny how this scene appears, as it might suggest a night shot lit from street light, due to the dark upper portion and the lack of strong contrasts. Maybe you can't see what I'm referring to, because you were there and for you there's no possible ambiguity, but when I looked at it in small size, I was sure that it was a night shot.
I can see your favourite subjects here, doors and bicycle, so you got yourself a two-for-one special.
Good perspective the way I like them, textures and ornaments in profusion and an interesting tree to close your composition.
From Canada with love.

J'ai préféré cette photographie à ta dernière.
Je la trouve réellement meilleure. Les couleurs, la perspective et les éléments de l'image sont très bien choisis.

This could have been a picture from India as well!...the tree, the bicycle, the gate, the multicolured doors. Interesting diagonal to create depth and fine details in the shaded areas as well!

I missed this post during my poor little and too short week of holidays.
I like the composition of this photo with the 2 doors, the 2 colors and the bicycle in between. It is funny but it seems you like bicycle in your photos: I remember some previous posts.
Perhaps it is missing a bit of sunlight to put more in evidence the colors but at the opposite it is sharing a quietful feeling which is welcome.

Special shot with lots of character and lots of details. The colors are fascinating. TFS!
