Chronologicaly this was the first picture I took in the Erg Chebbi near Merzouga. On the way towards the biggest dune (which is over 250 metres high), we saw this impressive scene afield. A blue dressed man leading six manned dromedaries across the dunes, something I had never seen before. Immediately I ran closer to them to take pictures. On of them you can see here.
I hope you like it and can give me some good hints,
Jonas

For everyone intending to do a Morocco trip, I just can advocate going to Merzouga and having a look at the Erg Chebbi desert.

I learn English gently. I am 15 yeas old. I receive education as english. I learn a word (chronogicaly) thanks to you. That's why I want to thank you.

This photo which is your first photo is very important for you. as for me you should keep until endless. dunes which are background and other dunes which are foreground are very adaptable. Camels seem completely black. You had to stand while sun was back.

I wonder Morocco so much. But I am frightened of standing alone in immense desert.

hallo jonas,

gute Arbeit

Hi Jonas,
your capture of the caravan looks great. I like the soft dunes and the POV. A faschination landscape.
Best regards
Boa

Hi Jonas,

Nice, that line of the 5 dromedaries.
Yep, that's a very nice composition. The sky is not very eventful, but the line of the dromedaries and the shades in the sand surely are!

Greetings and enjoy your weekend!
Dennis

Hallo Jonas!
Der Wüstenklassiker schlechthin.
Tolle Kompo mit den Kurven und Schatten im Vordergrund.Auch schöner Kontrast der warmen Brauntöne mit dem sanften Blau.
Schönes WE,
Gruß,Leo

Hi Jonas,

Beautiful balance in this photograph, I like much this undulating foreground and these plays of lights giving an appreciable relief and interesting shades. I understand why it is called the sea of sand this desert… The caravan is well placed in your composition. Beautiful work Jonas.

With all my friendships and a very good WE,

Hi Jonas, you are lucky in have lived through this beautiful experience in Morocco, and c have captured her in these interesting pictures, this one is very interesting with the line of dromedaries with the guide at the head of the caravan.

A good work of framing, congratulations.

Un saludo y hasta pronto.

Hi Jonas,
Well seen, the view is beautiful, great colours and a good composition.Very interesting perspective and lovely lighting,
Georg

Hi Jonas,
I like this shot of yours. The waves of the sand and the line of camels, the tones on the sand and how you can spot the different colors of the men's clothes.
The sky is a little too white for my taste but lighting conditions do not always allow us to get what we want. Using a polarizing filter might have helpes but I'm not sure to be honest.
Well done anyway.

Yours,
philippe

Hello Jonas
Very nice frame of the caravan with interestings lights and shades on the sand; this is not a flat composition.
Well done.
Cheers.

Simply Great!

Hi jonas,
Light is hard my friend, but that's no wonder in the desert. There are just a few hours during the day which are best for photography, the rest of the day we can sit in the shade or take a ride with a camel ;-)
Despite the light your composition is nice and although it's a scene we see a lot from there, always nice to look at it.
Take care, Henk

Olá Jonas, another great shot from the desert. I like the way you cut off the sky and gave us a good portion of soft ondulating dunes in FG before we reach the chain of camels pulled out by the 'blue' (good color here) leader. They seem to be climbing to the reach the sky...
Have a nice Sunday,
ricardo

Jonas,
Absolutely beautiful and a classic image of the Shahara Desert, what I like more about this image is that the sand is wet which add so much more color to the image and it's such a blessing to have rain in the desert and you're are there to photogrpahed it after it just rain. Composition is just perfect with the foreground showin the beautiful dune with various shades and tone. and finish up with the horizon of blue sky and the line of camels going through.

Hi Jonas,
wow! This is wonderful, a terrific composistion. I love the colors and the point of view. Perfect positioning of the sky and the sand, including the shadow in front. Well done!
Linda

Ich habe schon viel gesehen, aber irgendwie habe ich Karawanwn immer verpaßt. Wunderbar wie sie sich an den geschwungenen Dünen vorbeitbewegt.
Viele Grüße,
Achim

You did a nice work, Jonas. The light was not easy for you, but you did it very well. The framing to down is very nice, also capturing the beautiful dunes and well positioning the people and its camels with the rule of thirds.

Hi Jonas,
So many nice images in your gallery :-0

Hello Jonas
The smooth texture & shapes of the dunes makes a nice FG, along with the caravan train. The crop is well done, showing not much of the sky. You took this shot when the sun appears to be overhead, but good exposure achieved. Good work Jonas!

Bonjour JOnas,
un graphisme agréable et inattendu avec cette succession de courbes douces et ces jeux d'ombres et de lumières dans ces dunes.
Une mini caravane qui se place bien sur la composition.
Très bonne gestion des lumières et rendu des couleurs naturel.
Amicalement.
Daniel.

The photo is excellent, but with a POV able to capture more distinctly the shadows of the camels, it will be maybe even better.

Regards,

Asparuh
