quelle clarté! C'est impressionant. La lummière es ttrès belle aussi. J'aime beaucoup. Peut-être est-ce coupé un peu court au niveau du minaret mais bon je chipote...

The snow patch on the Atlas mountains reminds a bit of the Alps, but the tower in pic. reminds it's somewhere else...

La distance entre le minaret et les montagnes donne de la profondeur à la composition. La prise de vue permet de voir les détails et les couleurs de l'architecture du minaret. la bonne luminosité met en valeur les couleurs de l'image. Bonne journée.

You placed the minaret excellent to the right side this gives more space for the mountain to the leftside.

I tried to shoot a subject the same way not too long ago...a cityscape shot of Vancouver just like this - with an open space to one side and the main subject at the other side of the scene.
Do you know Andre? known as Inasiajones on TE?
he's a professional photographer.
he told me i shouldn't compose shots like this one similar to yours here.
told me there's too much open space to the one side, calls it 'dead space' and the eye has trouble staying on the main subject, the eye drifts aimlessly to the dead area.
what do you think?
its just something that has stuck with me since he brought it to my attention.
i'd be curious to hear what you have to say.
Of course, all photography is subjective. but when its coming from a professional, it does carry more weight.
Personally, i can see what he means. But i do love the lighting here, and the Minaret is so well defined and relevant to the culture.

Hello Roger,
The yellow and red tones of the minaret make a splendid contrast with the clear blue sky. The shot is well composed with the minaret placed off centre and allowing the inclusion of the snow capped mountains. Excellent sharpness throughout.

Peut être un cadrage un peu trop serré au niveau du minaret . MAis j'aime beaucoup cette composition avec une remarquable profondeur . Avec la tour , puis les collines ocres , et enfin ces superbes montagnes enneigées à l'arrière plan . Un ciel bleu d'une grande pureté aussi .

Pride et de la composition originale, très POV vous choisissez de montrer le contraste magnifique avec le minaret des belles montagnes de l'Atlas.
De bons graphismes sur la tour avec le dessin géométrique, belle couleur contraste également une image claire avec une bonne luminosité.

Je pense que c'est vraiment un très beau minaret. Les détails architecturaux et les ornements sont présentés magnifiquement. Je crois que ce minaret compte plus de décorations que normalement est le cas au Maroc.
Cette photo montre un grand contraste entre l'architecture raffinée de cette mosquée et la rugosité de la nature, ici les montagnes de l'Atlas.
Lumière et couleurs magnifiques.

Bonjour Roger,

C'est une image originale par sa composition contrastée et par le sujet.
Le minaret semble être incrusté dans la photo, je pense à cause du fort contraste chromatique. Il est de toute beauté et la richesse de ses détails contrebalance bien le minimalisme du décor.
