Photographer's Note

The Togra Gorge area has some spectacular rock faces and rises to 300m at it's narrowest point. There is also a lovely clear river running through the gorge. When we were there it was holiday season and the river was full with people enjoying the cool water as a respite from the heat.
Just outside the gorge there are these beautiful and peaceful 'palmeries' filled with date trees, olive trees, and many other agricultural produce growing next to the river. This green belt in the valley makes a stark contrast with the otherwise barren surroundings. There are also several of these Berber villages which blend in with the landscape.
