This shot was made in Villa Majorelle at Marakech.
The place is made of a fantastic garden and a beautiful house which belonged to of a french painter (Jacques Majorelle) between the 20's and 50's if I don't mistake.
Later on, the house was bought by the fashion designer Yves Saint-Laurent who restored it before offering it the the City of Marrakesh.
Today, that's a great place to spend the afternoon in the middle of the fantastic garden and the incredible blue tones of the buildings.
I already presented a shot of this villa three years ago. This time, I was more inspired by the graphic vibes of the place and that "blue" which is so special...

cette photo est très sympa. Les couleurs lui donnent évidemment une force et une énergie incroyable. Quatre couleurs qui permettent un découpage assez net et efficace. Je pense que l'idée d'incorporer le carrelage est très bonne, voire indispensable.

Hi Steven i think i know , at least i'd heard about that painter , his artworks and place in Marrakech . I like the simplicity of this picture playing with cromatism, the combination and contrast among colours and the special effect given by the pale lemon yellow plant pottery . The detail is nice , pleasant for having a glance and recreate in the nice window details .A blasts of colours in blue and yellow in the red city . Bona nit :)
