What struck me most was their color! Such a complete contrast to their drab surrounding. There were LIFE in their eyes and BEAUTY in their looks.

A larger photo would welcome. The subject was very interresting and colorfull, but my feeling is you have used too much of PhotoShop on the background and it is so obvious about the left leg of the lady and the face of the kid that I am almost sure to don't miss... But maybe...

nice and expressive

I agree with Serge about your post camera work. It influenced the impact of this interesting photo. Also a larger image would reveal much more details...
Even the small scan shows the potential of your shot Manuel. The colours and facial expressions are truly wonderful.

Agree with your own comments. Byt why the little size?

Nice photo, but agree .... Too many PS work (perhaps to mcompensate for a too high DOF ) Anyway ... the faces and eyes are incredible

very expressive eyes and hand gesture. a very well composed portrait with life and expression.imo the blurred background does work well but there seems to be somewhat of a blurred area from the hair to the background that is distracting. otherwise a very fine image.

C'est le regard qui retient mon attention dans cette photo. Belle création.

the real photo would have probably been fine.....

You could rework this one, I'm sure - the blurring job really spoils it, I think. You did it much better in 'ray of hope'.

belle complicité entre 2 générations... moment de quiétude parfait ! l'arrière plan un peu trop bicolore, trop simplifié!

Excellent, thought provoking title. I like how the whole photo focuses on their look. Nice contrasting colors as well.
