Photographer's Note
Rays of light filter through lattices protecting from the heat... The pattern thrown on the walls of the souk, the brown tones, and the ethnic print of the jellaba inspired me this title.
Always qquiet early in the morning before the bustle as soon as shops open their metal shutter.

The light conditions were very difficult, and unfortunately those white blades of light are a buut disturbing the subject and the cleaning of the image.
Maybe if the lady was dressed differently, but the fact that her dress's colour is the same as the background makes the image a bit confused, in my opinion

Bonjour Karine

Bien vu.
Amitiés

Hello Karine,
It's a more abstract image than the others it seems in this genre you are sharing with us. The zebra lines show high contrasts, the colors are earthy tones and very warm.
Warm regards,
Bulent

Karine

Hi Karine
This imge has enough elements to be of intererst in limited colors. The angled warm light has thrown up some cracking good shadows on much of the wall and the closed doors with some super detail. Its a great interplay of tones, textures, light and shadows and I think you have captured an appealing shot creating great atmosphere. The composition is spot on and timely shot as the striding fig enters the frame and attractively she appeared to be almost camouflaged and immersed into the 'stripes'. This unseen element is stunning really and i applaud you for your vision and passion as this is definatelty not a coincident, its well planned shot and this is the best part of the show to me. Very artistic, My compliments. Deserves more attention!
Best regards

Bonjour Karine!
One great shot! Exposure is extremely difficult here as I can see...too much contrast between light & shade! Slight bit of OE on the parts where the light has fallen, but the stripes of the pattern are worth every bit of it! Great idea, a fantastic title & good execution
Best Regards

Salut Karine,
harsh light and intense colours make your compo look very graphical. Good to see this woman as a human element for balance.
S. salutations,
Thomas
