All over Morocco you can always find in the markets a large selection of dried fruits, from dates to figs to apricots and nuts etc...
At dusk in Marrakech the square of Djemaa El-Fna becomes a lively place filled with 100's of food stalls and fresh orange juice stalls, and snake charmers, musicians, story tellers and other performers, people selling herbal medicines of animal parts and plants, a crazy mix of everything, and of course you can also find plenty of dried fruit stalls.
P.s. this will be my last post for a while as I leave for Canada at the end of the week.

I like this alignement of dried fruits Wanda, just like a whole palette of colors. The man well placed is not interfering but plays the role of the living element, even if seen from his back

Hello Wanda Banana!!!
Where are the dried bananas!! They are my favorites - with mangos...
Nice array of vitamins and iron sources, very inspirational for foodies like me and just in time for lunch hour! Good colour balance and light management with limited bulbs and pitch dark surrounding.
They don't wear gloves in Morocco before touching food!!!... :-P) Other countries, other standards...
Nice photojob Wanda!
Canada is waiting for you!!! Here, we wear gloves, but not only for touching foods!! We wear them all the time!!!... LOLLL!!

een mooi spectrum aan aardetonen en een goede compositie.

mmmh looks highly appealing, and seeing the size relative to the guy there is more than enough, not only with spices can you build mountains ! Nice low light image, soooo you leave to Canada and you haven't even seen the last weather reports I guess, -50°C in some places, pack warm clothes for you and the 5d ;-)
Happy landings, JY

Well positioned angle to show the concept in its perfect balance. That's the effect you create, with the inclusion of a man there.
All the best for your Canadian journey.

So many spices...so many colours! The subtle colours and the variances have been captured very well in the artificial light. I wonder if we have these types of shops in the Middle East, where I'll have to make a trip next month.
