Photographer’s Note
Afternoons in Marrakesh can be really hot. Every reasonable human being tries to find calm shady place (well every but not poor tourists). This man enjoying his siesta looked really relaxed laying virtually on a pretty busy street in medina. On the other hand his outfit teaches us that heat is rather relative…

Witaj Wojciech,
I love this timeless shot. I have a pair of early 19th century engravings with a pair of Moroccan soldiers, their rifles leaning against a wall, taking a similar siesta. But in that heat, how does he wear half-a-dozen shirts and coats. The bright red fez add a useful color highlight to the otherwise earthy colors.
Warm regards,
Bulent

Funny one, his head seems to shrink inside his body. I can imagine the heat. Nice natural tones.

Hello Wojciech,
An amazing position to take a nap... Well captured in grey and brownish colours with a single red contrast.
The man has sunk n,ot only in a sleep but also in his cloths...
Regards,
Paul
