I liked the blue grey doorway with a silhouetted tourist contrasting against the cream tones within the museum and the intricate Islamic tile art work.
'The Museum of Marrakech is a museum in the old center of Marrakech, Morocco.
The museum is housed in the Dar Menebhi Palace, built at the end of the 19th century by Mehdi Menebhi. The palace was carefully restored by the Omar Benjelloun Foundation and converted into a museum in 1997. The house itself represents an example of classical Andalusian architecture, with fountains in the central courtyard, traditional seating areas, a hammam and intricate tilework and carvings. The museum's large atrium (originally a courtyard, now covered in glass and fabric) contains a very large centrally hung chandelier-esque ceiling piece consisting of metal plates decorated with fine geometric and epigraphic cuttings. Several features of the original courtyard, including the floor-set basins and mosaics have been retained.
The museum holds exhibits of both modern and traditional Moroccan art together with fine examples of historical books, coins and pottery of Moroccan Jewish, Berber and Arab cultures.'

the photo which stands out of the crowd. I like how you used the columns to create interesting perspective on the right hand side and how the details of their pattern are continued on the floor. Very good depth enhanced by the darker corridor. Nice idea to capture single person in the door to add some human element.
Thanks for sharing

The length of the room of the museum is giving depth to the composition. The point of view is showing the details and the colours of this area of the museum. The good luminosity is bringing out the colours. Have a nice day.

Beautifully conceived and executed shot, Chris - the tiled patterns, the tonal shifts between hallways, and the guiding lines leading to the woman are all wonderful. Really nicely laid out here, thanks.

The geometric tiling, the colors and the silhouette of the visitor in the doorway contribute toward a first rate photo. One of my most brilliant theoretical physics students hailed from Marrakech. I would love to visit the historic city. Thank you also for the informative note.

Wonderful Islamic tiles. I like these rhombi patterns in nice brown beige tons. The silhouette of the woman in the door looks a bit mysterious. Splendid depth, excellent composition.

Good morning Chris,
Marvelous indoor's shot of the mosaic-art culumns and floor, same pattern and colors.
Fine DOF through the unique-details arch door, the lady who stood there gave scale and light to the image.
Fine taken photo, light managed superbly.

A fine perspective along these intricately decorated columns. These together with the patterns on the floor lead us toward the person standing in the shadow of the doorway, who brings a sense of mystery to the scene. Very well exposed with excellent colours and detail.

You care about perspective and here is an impressive example of a well chosen one, the round columns lead the way to the back and there to add deepness, is the bluish aisle with the entering tourist
Like repeated desing of the tiles on walls and floor

The thumbnail for this is very attractive and the full size delivers what the TN promises.
May I suggest a sepia version of this as a derivative work?
PS - I am slowly working through my Istanbul photos. When I get to the day I met you, may I upload a photo I took of you in the WS?
