KOUTOUBIA & PALM TREES, a photo from Marrakech, South

Photographer's Note

This is a very known monument of Marrakech, but I don't resist to post it once again. It has 2 other brothers of the same age and style. Giralda tower in Sevilla and the uncompleted minaret of Rabat, that I will show you in the next months.

Este é um monumento bem conhecido de Marrakesh, mas não resisto a ideia de postar mais uma foto dele. Este minarete possui dois irmãos da mesma idade e estilo, um é a torre da Giralda, em Sevilha e o outro é o minarete inacabado de Rabat, que vou mostrar daqui alguns meses.

Now that's a view of Marrakech that I'll never forget: the beautiful architecture of the Koutoubia in its typical red colour like all buildings in the medina, flanked by the tall palmtrees.
You've taken it from a good angle and the architectural details are clearly shown.

nice the coexist as the balance created from the well chosen POV, with the high palm trees to try to approch Koutoubia Minaret.I like the close up view,the details, as the architectural style of the building.

This tower is the most notable in Marrakech, most filmed and taken shots at, Jorge. Yet, from every angel the fine curved art can be seen, enrich the view.

Una composicion muy hermosa, con la combinacion de la fantastica torre y la belleza tan elegante de estas altas palmeras, que parecen querer competir en altura con la torre, el elaborado diseño de ventanas y elementos decorativos de la misma es fantastico. Ideal ese suave azul del cielo, que destaca los demas elementos de forma precisa.
