Though this is in a different town this picture makes me think of one of the best American movies ever made, "Casablanca", filmed during World War II in 1942 and staring a great American actor, Humphrey Bogart.

Excellent first post. The running boy is so well placed on the sunny pavement and under the arch. So much depth is created by your pov and having the separation between sun and shade.

Very evocative Matt with excellent framing, drawing us into the scene. I like the conversion to what appears to be a duotone rendering. Fine sharpness. Well done on every level.

Because I know well that one Aussie that wrote on your picture I'd like to tell you I'm delighted to see at least other Aussies show better taste in choosing their hardware ;-)
For having been to Marrakech I can find the feeling of walking in the Medina in your picture, you've placed the person and shade extremely well in the frame to catch my eye.
