Old Town butcher

| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| Again taken somewhere inside the Old Town, an elderly lady appears slightly horrified by the butchers demeanour. I don’t know about you but I am inclined not to buy meat from these places. Maybe it’s me being picky. |

Maybe it was something she ate!
Seriously though, I reckon the meat from these places is pretty safe, the rapid turnover would ensure that, and I'm sure it's a lot fresher than the crap you get in Tesco's.
It's an interesting shot Mark, but I think I'd have liked to have seen a bit more of the street on the left, or alternatively a tighter framing on the butcher's stall itself.
Cheers,
Ben
Hello Mark,
Is it the butcher or the photographer who brings horror to her eyes -;) It all depends what are you used to I suppose. These sorts of butcher shops are quite normal outside western Europe and North America. I once saw a man in Cairo carrying an unwrapped leg of lamb on his back whilst riding a scooter! Anyway, a very good daily life image with bags of atmosphere.

Hi Mark,
this one is really funny...! I laughed seeing the butcher looking at the old lady, and she's protecting her neck and feeling scared...
The photo is a bit messy in terms of compo, I can understand Ben's critique, but I can also totally relate to why you liked it and decided to post... I like it!
