Ijoukak is a perfect place to stop between Marrakesh and the Tizi 'n Test. It is situates at 1200m on the wonderful road leading to the top.

Beautiful shot of a rarely seen location in the middle of nowhere. Discoveries like these are what travel is all about. Well composed. Good DOF. Perhaps could be a bit darker in the bottom half.

I like the combination of mud-and-brick façades and minaret lit by the sun under the dark clouds. The view of the village is quite fascinating and you composed the picture well with the cactae in the foreground.

Hi Gerrit, impressive photo with this dark menacing sky. Nice houses in pink colour and thr tower, probably minaret. Beautiful place. Goog idea to include the opuntias they give depth and are beautiful

Perfect light which exposes natural colors of the buildings.

The cactus provides depth, all I could wish for was a model walking in the middle lower void.

Hello Gerrit - Here in a stony valley we see a wonderful old settlement, it has such charm and a feeling of exoticism which we don't really see in a European environment. A fine shot where the light plays an important role as the village is bathed in warm sunlight while the sky looks heavy with rain. Super shot. Warm regards Rosemary

in this good framing you show us an amazing architecture well illuminated by the Sun, while the sky and the clouds threaten with a storm and give a dramatic touch to the composition.

Looks to be a place off the usual tourist map. Very nice presentation with the warm tones contrasting with the BG. Like the shadow of the clouds on the hill slope. The cactus in the FG provides depth. Well done!
