One among other scenes from the Medina of Essaouira. Those narrow streets full of colorful silhouettes wandering around are really charming. You feel you discovered a completely new world.
And what is so nice with Essaouira is that you have far less tourists than in Marrakech. It means that you feel that the life in that beautiful city remained really authentic compared to the Souqs in Marrakech.

Great photo. It reminds me of the photos I shot from Portugal. I like your point of view - the street leads the viewer into the photo. The colors of the blue door with the yellow trim is very interesting.

Excellent presentation of the old medina, I've been there mezelf and know how narrow some streets are.
Colours are good, just as placing the woman in the frame....good work..!!

The blue door and the yellow arch look stunning together. You did well to catch so much light up the alley. I do agree that you would feel as though you have discovered a new world. I like the idea of capturing the person in the photo, it gives it more appeal then just an empty alley. Thank you so much for sharing this photo. Extremely nice.

Hi Steven This narrow street that takes the eye along its length is full of colour, texture and varying shapes- making the experience modest yet rich. There is also a sense of discovery for what is around the bend? Very good control of light. Regards, Klaudio

composition is so good. Especially colours of the door and woman's dress is affecting. POV is correct.

Delightful shot, this one. Matching colours in the door frames and the lady's clothes. Great viewpoint down the narrow alley, allowing us to see it curve slightly away to the left. You did well to get so much light in your shot, plus the human interest!

Excellent framing and a good capture of the mood and tradition of this medina. The detail is well rendered and the image nice and sharp. Well composed to give us a flavour of this way of life. TFS

Une belle photo d'ambiance, effectivement. j'aime bien l'encadrement de porte qui amène de la couleur, et cette femme qui marche qui amène de la vie.
C'est très réussi.

Nice composition. I love the way the clothes of the wanderer combine with the colors of the walls. I also like the streets of Moroccan medinas which you captured here perfectly: narrow, high and deep. Regards, Yvonne
