Photographer’s Note

Early morning in the desert. I stayed in Erg Chebbi dunes overnight and woke up early to catsh the shadows of the dunes.

A superb photo Eino,
I was there recently too and especially loved the evening colours but these morning colours are just as good. You've made great use of the colour and shadows to show the shape of the sand dunes.

An amazing shot!
You were sensible to include the animals in the shot, otherwise we would have had less idea of the scale.
A wonderful study of light and shadow.

Dear Eino,
The large version is beautiful, very sharp, allowing us to enjoy so many details that we would not see in this version.
My impression is that if you want to adapt your photo better to your title, you could remove the upper part, to concentrate on the waves of sand.
I tried a ws, to show you my idea.

Hi Eino,
long time no see! Nice to see you here again with a spectacular shot! Great use of the beautiful early morning light! A wonderful view on the dunes and an amazing impression of the green bushes that try to conquer this desolate landscape. I can spot two animals, are they dogs? Excellent photo work! TFS!

wonderful impression of this early morning view to the wide desert sands. Very good picture quality, as we can see in the large post. The two donkeys bring some live to this deserted but beautiful scenary. Very well done. I also like the cropped version in the WS, which concentrates on the golden ocean of sands. in this case the large version is more than a free option: that enables the viewer to enjoy the crispy sharp details, the wonderful colours, the abstract curves - briefly, it brings the viewer directly into the middle of the desert. A very good photo in every respect.
