Photographer's Note

I don’t post too many of people shot, at least not close up. I love those types of picture, but I find it hard to take, because I was never sure if the people mind. I wouldn’t be too happy if people just come up and take pictures of me, so I extend the same kind of respect to others.

Our driver was driving us to visit the sand dune in Merzouga, I asked him to stop and take some photos of the landscape. This boy with his desert fox came running to our car, and our driver was talking to him. He doesn’t seem to mind me with the camera pointing at him, so I took some shots. At some point I realized he wanted money. We didn’t much cash with us, so we borrowed some from the driver to give him some and a couple of candy bars.

I was happy with this image it is worth much more than I pay him for. Most of all the nice memories.
