MUSIC & FALLEN SAND, a photo from Er Rachidia, South

Photographer's Note

We arrived in our camp and there was a circle of tents, the ground was covered with carpets and we ate a typical Moroccan food. After that the local guys decided to play local music for us and few minutes after they let us to play the typical instruments. It was a pity nobody discovered my talent for music at that moment. Haha. While taking photos I didn't saw nothing, but after I saw these falling grains of sand. Our camp was at side of a huge dune, there wasn't wind at that moment.

Chegamos ao nosso acampamento e havia um círculo de tendas, o chão estava coberto de tapetes e nos serviram uma comida típica marroquina. Depois, os rapazes locais decidiram tocar música para que a conhecéssemos e minutos depois nos deixaram tocar os instrumentos típicos, uma pena que ninguém descobriu meu talento para música neste momento. haha.
Na hora não notei, mas depois percebi os grãos de areia caindo do céu, nosso acampamento estava localizado ao lado de uma grande duna e praticamente não ventava.

Hello Jorge,
It's a nice capture. But why didn't you try a PS and get the light and conrast better ? I've made a WS and posting it. Here you can see the falling sand grains better.
Anyhow, a nice entry.

Hello Jorge,

I like this image despite the poor lighting. I know it must have been hard to capture without sufficient light. Like the mood and the colors. You must have had a great time with these singers playing the local music.
