MEETING OF SHADOWS, a photo from Er Rachidia, South

Photographer's Note

Here we can see another moment of a group of tourist going to the camp at side of the dunes of Sahara desert. It was very difficult to manage the camera and sometimes I lost marvelous images and in this case I was lucky, the shadows of our group created a curious illusion that the shadows are having a meeting.

Temos aqui mais um momento do grupo de turistas se dirigindo para um acampamento localizado ao lado de uma duna do Deserto do Saara. Era difícil manejar a câmera e perdi fotos muito bonitas. Aqui eu tive sorte e as sombras parecem estar se encontrando.

Indeed, it looks like a meeting of the group on the dromedaries with their shadows in the sand.
The shadows contribute to a well balanced composition.

Looks as though you had a great holiday in Morocco. Despite your difficulties taking photos from the back of a dromedary this image works well - light is good and the colours are all very natural. Cheers, Marlene

Hello Jorge.
You did a very good job to keep the camera still and be able to frame this interesting and atmospheric shot. I do like the viewpoint and perspective and of course the shadows in the gentle light. I think the only way to do this kind of shooting is to set a very fast speed and short focal length/wide angle, which you seem to have done. A very good result.

We see four shadows od camels, but I see not vthe photographer in the shadow.
Splendid taken, a pity for the camel before you, what a weight!.
Good captured place and scenery.
