Photographer’s Note
These are the Ouzoud waterfalls, east of Marrakesh on the heights of the Atlas. They are 110m high but I only focused on the lower part.
It is a nice place to discover during the summer, especially because Moroccan families enjoy that cool place during their summer vacations. In fact, you don't meet much foreign tourists during the hot season so you feel like you really meet the country and its people.
Starting from the Ouzoud village, you need a 20 minutes walk to reach the very bottom of the waterfalls. You walk across dozens of small restaurants and you may experiment an unforgetable evening if you try to stay at night and get your diner close to the amazing sound of the waterfalls.
We reached Ouzoud after a full day trip starting from Fez and aiming to join Marrakesh trought the Atlas Mountains. We came across great scenaries all along the road.
Good news :
This small place was probably one of the highlight of our little stay in Morocco.
Bad news :
I broke my tripod... I've been using it for 3 years I guess. I didn't had time to buy one before flying back to Cameroon and I guess it will miss me in my future travels... Except if I ask someone to carve one from wood since there is no descent photographic shop in this damn 3 million inhabitants city.

Steven,
Extremely interesting waterfall shot, with this little "plateau" jutting out, causing fairly complex paths for these falls to follow.
Overall, it's an interesting, almost confusing, shot - but none the worst for that. One to ponder for a while, certainly.
Regards

Beautiful water fall. Very dramatic. Never seen such a beautiful water fall scene like this before. Very well done. A picture that deserves to be in a magazine. Sothy

This is really a nice shot. Very well composed with an excellent use of slow shutter speed. TFS

Hi Steven
A very impressive scene and well exposed as bit longer so the water gets that smooth surface.Great shot.
