Photographer’s Note
In the late afternoon the sun comes in from over the ocean in Asilah, a peaceful town (out of season anyway) south of Tangier. The walls of the medina glow and the white washed buildings shine.
The spot where I took this photo is popular during the day for viewing the coast and medina. At times musicians play. There is an old cemetery below this view but I cropped it out to concentrate on the medina and the Atlantic Ocean - a very peaceful spot.

Hello Ian,
The ramparts testify to the long history, and still ensure the protection of the traditional current residences, against the attacks of the sea. The light is sublime, the image is beautiful and natural. A beautiful place, a good realization. Cheer.
Have a nice day

Hi Ian,
Great format crop to get the wide effect here. Nice contrast of the white architecture against the strong blue of sea and sky. The rampants are another very good element in the composition. This looks like a place I'd like to discover some day. Thanks for sharing.

Ciao Ian,
splendid sight of this village that stretches out him toward the sea, the different coloration I like between the walls and the houses.

Hi Ian,
Your photography is jumping ahead in leaps and bounds, this capture is quite stunning.
There's a cemetery down there, amazing.
Excellent POV and composition. Very good image quality, nicely exposed even though the you were faced with front lit almost white walls. The sky also looks great.
It's a marvelous shot mate.

Peter

Hi Ian, An interesting image with colours from a hot climate. The variety of colours such as the red windows and blue walls shine out from this coastal image. Good to see the other side of the Mediteranean Sea. The textures of the light yellow sea wall is appealing. TFS. Murray.

Hi Ian, you really do get to some exotic places. The rich colours captured here are so symbolic of this amazing country. And it is a different POV to what I'm used to seeing. Nice sky and good depth of field too and i like the panoramic framing. TFS and hope you back a winner! Lisa
