Photographer's Note

Chefchaouen in north western Morocco is often called the Blue City, for obvious reasons. Instead of whitewash on buildings and paths they use a blue colored rinse. This was taken at night under both street and moonlight and here, the colour seems more intense then during the hard light of day. Cities in Morocco are often split between old and new, with a medina, kasbah and souks located in the old part of the city. More info here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chefchaouen

According to wiki it has its own province but it does not appear on the drop down menu in TE. This map supports wiki: http://www.mapsofworld.com/morocco/morocco-political-map.html
