Photographer’s Note
Tangier was once an international city, specially during and shortly after the II World War. Lot of political refugees ended there looking for shelter, among them many spaniars running away from the bloody dictatorship regime of Franco. In fact the mountains on the background are the seaside of Cádiz, at the very south of Europe, of Spain, so probably some of those political refugees stayed there under the red sun, le soleil rouge, waiting for the chance to cross from shore to shore to find whas was their original land...

Saludos

The dedication alone, to all the victims of the Franco Regime, deserve a thousand points, although we're not here for points.
I like it, amigo, it's a simple setup, but a nice view.
I hope you are well, I juts returned from St. Petersburg and Finland, the choir festival. Would love to get together again with you sometime, spend a weekend somewhere.

M: I immediately took to this composition - nice touch with the jalaba-clad figure in the fore. c

Hello Miguel
I like the sheer surrealism and graphism of this scene. The echoeing curves, the delicate tones. A very classy composition.
