Mausoleum of Mohammed V
Large candelabra made of pierced and engraved copper stand atop the entrance to the Mausoleum of Mohammed V Workshop 1, the father of Moroccan independence. This majestic mausoleum Workshop 2, made of white Italian marble, was commissioned by his son, Hassan II. It was designed by Vietnamese architect Vo Toan. The group of buildings that make up the mausoleum include a mosque and a museum all located on the opposite side of the Hassan Tower in Rabat, Morocco. The mausoleum is considered a masterpiece of modern Alaouite dynasty architecture, with its white silhouette, topped by a typical green tiled roof. Its construction was completed in 1971.
The Mausoleum contains the tombs of the Moroccan king and his two sons, late King Hassan II and Prince Abdallah. Hassan II was buried there following his death in 1999.

Hi Betty, i believe this is a hand made piece of work, you made it by showing the smallest details, great close up and perfect choice of POV to capture the sun reflection. very well done betty :)

Hi Betty,
very beautiful artwork! Great composition. You chose a nice pov, including that blue sky to emphasise the candelabra shape. There is a soft light that comes from the left that brings nice details. Very good work!

Hello Betty,
The intricately carved candelabra, set against the vivid blue sky, is really compelling, but not until one sees Workshops 1 does the scale become clear. This is a beautifully composed shot, presenting the rising diagonal structure, and exposed perfectly, showing the detail.
Was it not King Hassan II who built the mosque with the highest minaret in the world, perhaps higher than the Washington Monument.
Warm regards,

Hi Betty,
Very good management of this difficult lighting renders razor sharp details to the intricately designed candelabra that is so effectively complimented by the deep cloudless blue sky.
