Photographer’s Note
The Roman ruins of Volubilis lie about 33km north of the city of Meknes. It was declared a UNESCO world heritage site in 1997 and is the best preserved archaeological site in Morocco, including many lovely mosaics preserved in situ.
According to excavations is seems that the site was originally settled by Carthaginian traders in the 3rd century BC and was anexed by the Romans in about AD40, and housed up to 20,000 people
We made a day trip here from Meknes by hiring a grand taxi (old mercedes benz cars) for the day. Got here early in the morning and were the only people until we left, the only accompanyment was this dog who walked with us the whole time.

Hello Wanda!
Very nice composition. I like the architecture at background and the dog looking to that is a very good detail. Nice lights! Good crop.

Hi Wanda,
the warm and cold contrast is nice and I like the panoramic format of this one. Good textures and shadows, the green belt of the trees create a pleasant break in that dry region. The animal life element is the right subject for the foreground to add some interest.

Hello dear Wanda,
Volubilis!! Wow! I like this word. I will create a trademark with this... LOL!!
Interesting view with dog serving as a good foreground element, perfectly pointing and leading our eyes into the image. The rebel that you are have opted for a large landscape format. You are so unorthodox... :-P)
Cheers!

Hallo Wanda,
A kind of gate keeper...wowwwww
Fijne dag, Henk

Hi Wanda,
I like the compo in a panoramic format, with the well positionned dog adding interest to the nature and architecture shot ;D
Lovely warm color tones and good POV to have the ruins standing out on the sky.
Greetings

Hello Wanda
It's quite funny to see the dog who seems to be contemplating these Roman ruins at a distance ;) The light is pleasant and gave nice golden tonalities.
