I had the opportunity to take this photo during a morning spent with my wife in IFRANE (a town in the Middle Atlas Mountains, 1713 meters above sea level).
The weather was fairly mild and festive (the second day of the Feast of Sacrifice or AIDA AL ADHA in Arabic).

The boy in this shot is a balloon salesman. He had spotted us and took our direction to present us his goods. He quickly realized that our interest was elsewhere. He preferred therefore to continue his merry way while staring at both of us.

What struck me about this kid was his rebellious eyes and looks, the high speed with which he moved from one client to another (while he was on a slope) and his ability to quickly detect potential clients.

A kid from the Atlas mountains…

J’ai eu l’occasion de prendre cette photo lors d’une matinée passée en compagnie de mon épouse à IFRANE (une ville située dans le Moyen Atlas, à 1 713 mètres d'altitude).
Le temps était assez clément et festif (2ème jour de la fête du sacrifice ou AIDA AL ADHA en arabe).
Le jeune garçon sujet de la prise est vendeur de ballons. Il nous avait repéré et a pris notre direction pour nous proposer sa marchandise. Rapidement, il a compris que notre intêret était ailleur. Il a préféré donc continuer son bonhomme de chemin tout en nous dévisagent.

Ce qui m’a frappé chez lui c’est son regards rebelle, la grande vitesse avec laquelle il se déplaçait d’un client à un autre (alors qu’il était sur une pente) et sa capacité de detcter rapidement ses clients potentiels.
