[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is Talaa Seghira (Little Slope), as seen from the great terrace of Hotel Cascade. One of the two main streets in the medina of Fes El-Bali, it descends deep in the Medina. Both of them converge near Place an-Nejjarine, continuing to the Kairaouine Mosque.

The rooftops of the medina may be festooned with satellite dishes, but in many ways life has remained little changed here for hundreds of years.
