Photographer's Note
Snapshot from a rooftop terrace in the Imperial city of Fez. A guard came walking in of the famous Bab Jamoud - the big gate providing the entrance to the Fez old city. A vast maze consisting of 9000 alleys.
The pic is far from flawless; the tilt is weird, the top of his head has been cut of the shadow, but I still like it as htese flaws adds a dynamic element to the image.
I'm note sure of the state - hope some Marocans omn the site may help out.

Very well done, with this long shadow (even if it's cut) in front. Uniform grey tones and pavement details are conveying a kind of strict atmosphere. You've captured the right image at the right moment. Now, with some postwork, it could look a bit different.

Effective shadows and beautiful light. I also like the simplicity – and the colors of that man´s hat and clothes. I like how I can see the face of that man in Ornis´ WS – even though I prefer your choice of angle...

This is really great! What seems to be b&w, than we only see the man at colours. The shadow gives it a movement ideia! I also like the version of ornis, but honestly i prefer yours!

Beautifully seen. I really like the texture you have created with this shot Mikkel. Excellent. Maybe it can be cropped a different way, but it works for me as is.
