Photographer’s Note
I found it interesting that before the modern times, Fes used to be surrounded from all sides by fortifications placed on hills, while the city itself strived in a valley below. Now, grass has conquered the old walls while the ruins of the ancient might serve as a decoration to the city's horizon.
Let me know what you think.

I love the dramatic contrast between the over-crowded city below and the green hills above; the fortification provides a clear division between the two. very strong composition.
best,
K.

It is a very nice picture and I really like the way how the two towns are separated by the colours. The castle in bright green and brown and the city in a misty and pale bluish colour. The note is quite fine but it would be much better if you had talk about the castle origin. Well done.

Hi Kristaps!
A different perspective of Fes, for sure! I like your composition, the ruins of the castle surrounded by hundreds of houses. Very nice colours also!

Hello Kristaps
this is so beautiful. I have never heard about this city furthermore, the presence of such a hill, and probably a castle is good to notice. It is probably a good adventure to go there and watch the city or at least many houses from above. It looks very high I hope it s easy to access there by walk or car. Nice

Bonjour Kristaps,
le contraste est de taille entre ces vieilles ruines qui dominent la ville et cet contrebas plus moderne mais qui toutefois ont pas mal d'années aussi.
Contrastes également dans la vivacité des couleurs et les lumières.
Bien vu.
Regards.
Daniel.

Hi Kristaps,
Morocco is in my wish list. You have cought an incredible scene. The dof is really good. There are lots of interesting focal points and all of them sharp. It's so different, so unusual to me. I like it!
Abraço,
Carlos

Hello, Kristaps
Nice point of view - the Merenid Tombs. From this place, but at dusk, the city is becoming alive with the mouezins summing from over 700 mosques the pilgrimsers. Remarkable green colour in your shot. For comparision, please take a look at this
Good idea for the Atakama, this is from a man currently in the Sahara...

Asparuh
