Photographer’s Note

Impressive … the minaret of the Mosque Hassan II in Casablanca.
It s' raise with more than 200 meters in height towards the sky. As comparison, Koutoubia (Marrakech) measures 77 meters !

Cette mosquée est très belle Jean mais ce qui me frappe surtout c'est le cadrage naturel qui me fait immanquablement penser à un Tetris !

Altough I have seen this mosque 6 years ago,I could not see this POV at that time.That is the excellent seeing of photograph.also symetry and compositon wonderfull.

Un POV qui impressione , même en photo . Alors en vrai ... J'aime beaucoup la symétrie parfaite , aussi . Pour le ciel , la couleur est assez bizarre : cela est il du à la brume , au filtre , ou bien aux deux ?

I realy like the way you use the roof of the building at the fg to frame the minaret. Th result is a very original composition with a intersting perspective.

En voyant cette mosquée, je pense immédiatement à la Mosquée de Paris en grande partie réalisée par des artisans marocains (rien à voir dans la taille, mais beaucoup dans les couleurs).

Bonsoir Jean,

Ce minaret est impressionnant. La prise de vye du bas vers le haut donne de ls perspective à la photo. L'image est claire et nette. La charpente du haut cadre bien le minaret et a un bel effet sur la composition. La bonne luminosité met en valeur les couleurs de l'image. Bonne soirée.

Très bien pensée cette compo et joli travail sur les perspectives. Le minaret semble conçu pour venir s'encastrer dans ce décrochement du bâtiment.

il fallait avoir l'oeil pour un tel POV et cadrage, on dirait que ces deux édifices sont faits pour s'emboiter. C'est d'une graphisme et d'une propreté irréprochables.

J'aime beaucoup le "côté" graphique de ta photo et le ciel, au dégradé uniforme, était là pour y participer.... au point que je me suis demandé s'il était vraiment "naturel" ;)

Il fallit le trouver cet angle de vue... Vraiment très impressionnant avec en plus le cadrage qui inclut le découpege très géomtérique à l'avant-plan. Vraiment une réussite avec en prime une perfecetion technique.

ton reflexe pour le motif se valorise au Maroc. C'est une exibition visuelle que tu realises tout en passant Casablanca. Le tres bon resultat pour un touriste qui ne sait pas ou tourner la tete d'abord. Je souligne ta realisation graphique. Mes compliments et amities,

this is really impressive! I very much like the POV which you chose: these two "pieces" fit into each other like pieces of a jigsaw puzzle! (it seems that you just move them a bit closer together... and they will be one whole thing)

The view angle is very good, as well as the light. Usually it's difficult to show the height of the building, but with such frame on the forground the perspective is just perfect. Somewhat looks like puzzle. Great picture!
