It is rare that a sunset makes a motive in its own right, but this is pretty spectacular. The golden edges of the cloudscape produces some intriguing figures.

I like that you include a bit of beach in the bottom and the stones in the water contribute as well. When I first saw the thumbnail I thought they were reflections of the clouds.

Yes, why not, Christian ? Some are never tired by flowers, others are fond of close-up details. I love sunsets and I'm sure I'm not alone. There is a natural beauty in these colors, it is the great time when you think that, after all, Earth is beautiful.
Thank you for this one. Excellent sharpness, wonderful rays of light, and a lovely composition with those boats on the left. One of my favourite, Christian.

Very well composed picture. The sunset is spectacular but the reflections even better because you have the sun obtruded by the cloud above the horizon, but on the reflection it can readily be seen. The sky has beautiful colours and the 'calm' water in the front ads a nice touch.

true, sunsets are never the same and almost always breathtaking. Especially this one. The upgoing sunbeams are very well captured. The silhouets in the front are also good. Well done!

wow this is one of the most beautiful sunset i've seen! Great sharp details of the clouds and the rest with a wonderful Ray of light. Very well exposed and captured.

This is a shot anyone would be proud of. I think everything fits and works, all of the little details are there. Awesome sunset, one of the better one's I've seen. Don't even think of changing it for any reason, it will stand the test of time as is.

One of the best sunset picture i ever seen before! I like the light ray emitted from the sun and pass through thick cloud. You captured it!!!!

This is definitely one of the best sunsets I've seen, Christian! The golden colors are at its best, the clouds are properly positioned in the sky, the sun's rays are awesome and the reflections are so real! Very nice indeed! Thanks for sharing! rgds.

That is definanately a cool looking shot you have there. I really like how you caputured the entire thing, At first I thought the rocks in te water were a reflection of the clouds, I was disappointed when I found out they were just rocks. I like how you caught the rays of the sun over the clouds in the sky. Very cool shot.

Just great and poetic..the little prince of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry on his little planet could see 43 sunset a day. He said also that one loves sunset when one is sad..?

Your pictures are extremely beautiful! The reflection is amazing and the rays of the sun look gorgeous. I am also definitely a sunset person.

It seems that you sharpened it quite a lot, is that right? Well if you did, in my opinion it looks great here - the golden edges of the clouds and rocks. Very nice! :)
