Tamarin salt ponds
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| This photograph shows some of the numerous salt evaporation ponds in Tamarin. Sea water is pumped into these shallow stone bottomed pools and left to evaporate naturally in the hot sun. When most of the water has evaporated the remaining sea salt is shoveled into piles to be collected and sold. Most days I didn't see much action but one day I was lucky to see the salt being collected. |

nice composition with great colors. There is a slight tilt to the left I think.
An interesting shot John.
I like to see this type of picture where we can learn a little about the world.
I think that I would have cropped some of the sky,and if possible try to get a little closer to the workers, but I understand that it is not always possible.
Nevertheless it is a good shot with sharp detail and good colour.
TFS, regards Jean.
