Photographer’s Note

This picture was taken while I as on vacation on athe island of Rodrigues.situated to the North North East of mauritius.I had the opportunity to visit a natural cavern which was not accessible to the public.The cavern as they said was live and you could see stalactites and stlagmites in formation..This is waht I wanted to show to you..but i Had only the incorporated flash of the Nikon D100 whcih I just bought some days ago...It was therefore not an easy job.I hope that it would be of interest to you all.

This is spectacular Christian. The water droplet has been captured wonderfully. I've always wanted to see stlagmites forming, and thanks to you, now I have.

Really fun image. That water drip was captured with perfect timing. Nice clarity to this image, too. You might want to experiment with cropping to put that droplet on a "third," but it could very well deserve its centered composition.

Hi Christian, this is an amazing shot. Beautiful colours and sharpness. The "living" stone looks like a slime body.
I agree with papagolf21 about framming - it shows the purpose of this photo.
But although, this is a very interesting picture.
