Photographer’s Note

The Southern side of Mauritius is the most beautiful part of the island, there are waterfalls, mountains, tea plantations, gorges and beautiful beaches.
The Chamarel waterfall emerges from the moors and primeval vegetation and is startingly beautiful. The water tumble from the St. Denis River in the Black River Mountains from a height of about 83 m.

Ciao Alberto, non riesco a capire se nella parte alta c'è nebbia o una sovraesposizione nell'immagine..Comunque è bello e interessante il posto che mostri, con tutto questo verde!

Its indeed a nice place, and you've capture the fall well. Been there too but then i was using my film camera, wish to return again.

Hi Alberto,
very nice capture of that beautiful waterfall I have very similar photo... :o) I saw tropicbirds (Phaethon lepturus) landing on the rocky ledges near waterfall.

Hola Alberto,

Lo que más me gusta de esta imagen es la intensidad de los colores verdes, has enmarcado muy bien la cascada, aunque al estar tan lejana no se aprecia su belleza, un zoom más grande sobre ella y un formato vertical podría ser interesante, pruébalo (si puedes) la próxima vez, buen trabajo amigo.
