Photographer’s Note

One of the unpredictable sunsets with the wonderfull reflections in the sea.Enjoy the tropical atmosphere.Well for those new commers to my site the picture was taken in Mauritius a small island in the indian ocean.It is a well known destination now for tourists from all over the world.Being small can be an advantage and also a disadvantage.Moving to any part of the island is relavitely easy and we can catch different scenes in different environement.On the other hand we may be tempted to show the same spots but with different lighting effects.Pictures shot can be seen as postcards but infact they are all real and natural.Sunsets more particularly are never the same depending of the time of the year.When you have a look at some of them posted on my site you will understand.I hope to have been able to make you plan your holiday in the near future and catch those memorable moments.

Just Awesome. I think the photograph deserves more in 'Photographer's Note', particularly about the place etc. Seen a mesmerizing sunset after such a long time.

For a time I decided not to critique sunsets because they seemed such an obvious subject.

Then I thought - heck. If somebody can capture a beautiful shot of an amazing sunset, why not recognise it!

This is one such achievement. Your composition, sharpness, colour and light are all truly breathtaking. This is a fantastic sunset. Thanks for sharing and congratulations.

Hi Christian,

Very beautiful photo.I love the POV and specialy the composition. The sea reflects perfectly the sky and the little rocks add a misterious atmosphere.
