One more photo from Pamplemousses Botanical Garden in Mauritius. I really liked the shape of this gigantic leaf ...

Founded in the 18th century, the beautiful Pamplemousses Botanical Garden houses an incredible variety of tropical plants, many of them indigenous.

While the garden is most famous for its giant water lilies VICTORIA AMAZONICA (on the picture), the garden features spices, ebonies, sugar canes as well as 85 varieties of palms from Central America, Asia, Africa and the islands around the Indian Ocean. Many trees have been planted by world leaders and royalty, including Princess Margaret, Countess of Snowdon, Indira Gandhi, François Mitterrand and Robert Mugabe.

When i saw this shot,i was sure it was from a girl...a romantic shot.))
A pity that the autofocus worked on the background image....the heart is not so sharp.

C'est une végétation vraiment spectaculaire. C'est un gros plan qui nous permet l'observation de beaucoup de détails. Beau rendu des couleurs et belle netteté.
