Photographer’s Note

Chinguetti would have been a holy city for Muslims since a long time. The city is lost in the desert, and is progressively overgrowned by the sand, which is a real problem.
The mosque, very nice, has been restored several times, the access is impossible for non-muslim.

I really like the PoV. The eye is nicely lead to what seems to be the entrance of the mosque. The placement of the Minaret is very good. Nice choice of color for the frame, it complements the overall feel of the shot. Well done!
