Hello Gaby,
Three litlle boys proud of becoming men. I think your camera made them forget the pain. There's a fine parallel between the boys dressed in blue and the brown trunks of the tree behind them.

C'est marrant, je viens de mettre une photo que j'ai appelle 'Circoncision.. et je trouve cette photo dans ta galerie! Ca n'a pas l'air de les avoir traumatisés outre mesure, d'ailleurs! Ou bien c'est le genre ça fait du bien quand ça s'arrête! La joie du moment est bien captée avec trois expressions, plus sympa les unes que les autres...

Bonsoir,
belle photo de ces jeunes qui ont l' air content, ce n' est pas toujours le cas car cela est douloureux.
Mais pour des coutumes, des moments inoubliables pour eux, cela doit etre plus facile a passer je supose.

They're smiling pretty big considering what just happened to them, Gaby...they should be looking shocked and dazed! I guess they are tough boys. I like the simple blue-brown color scheme, and their slight lean away from vertical to create a dynamic feel. Regards, Ken.

A nice happy portrait of the 3 kids - i cant believe you got that expression from them considering what has just happened!

I think id rather look at it as a simple photo of happy Mali kids.
