Mali never ceases to amaze me. The overexposure works great in bl/w with the tall boat in the center getting all the focus it deserves.

Doncs si, transmet calor, a més transmet molt bé tranquilitat.
El Blanc i Negre l'has treballat molt bé i el contrast de la barca i la palmera fosques centren la vista allà on la llum no fa mal als ulls... no se si ho has fet expressament o no pero l'has clavat amic!

ESta foto y el blanco y negro en el que lo muestras, me recuerda bastante a un grabado antiguo, tiene como esa textura de tinta en tonos grises, y además presenta un tema "exótico" tal y como eran en los tiempos en los que estas imágenes estaban de moda. Bonita de verdad.

Tu as vraiment realisé une belle serie de photo lors de ton voyage au Mali.
Pour l exposition de cette photo, je comprends ta demarche, mais je ne suis pas convaincu par le resultat. J aurais prefere une photo sans zones sur exposées. Il y a peut etre un moyen de garder ces tons claires mais en evitant la surexposition?

I like this photo. It has everything a classic landscape should have. I like how you managed to overexpose a little bit without washing out the shadows. It's soft, calm, beautifull, timeless.

Tus fotos de Mali y tus ya famosos: Nikon F60, el Nikkor y el papel Kodak 400 ASA son un auténtico deleite para coger afición. Debería escribirse un pequeño ensayo sobre el tono, la composición, pero no damos para mucho.
Resulta singular esta estética para una persona joven como eres, una estética tan retro, como una copia desvaida; como si de un momento a otro nos fuera a salir King-Kong o Weismuller haciendo de Tarzán; o los cuatro jinetes bengalíes, o Beau Gest.
