[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is not a Swiss Cow,...in many places they don't have too much water,...in many places they don't have many green land for vegetables,...in many places they don't have rain usually and the sun burns the land,...in many places they don't have many things for an occidental, and they are poor for us,...but they have a good tea, they have good subjects of conversation, they have great rivers, they have great landscapes, they are proud to do what they do and to eat what they eat, ot to meet the people that they meet,...they are poor in many case? may be,...but they are rich too. It's up to you to think what you whant to think.
But in any case,...this cow is not a swiss cow,...and she is too much thin to give something to the inhabitants of this region of the country. Sometimes live it's not easy,...

In this picture I have overexpose a little the sky and land to gives an atmosphere of burn land.

I will post others pictures about this trek, and you can see other pictures in my gallery.

Thanks for your comments.

Bonsoir Javier
Xavier

Hi Javier,
I think the overexposure works really well here: it's not so obvious in the sky but has a great effect on the land, emphasizing the barrenness idea. Wonderful accompanying note.

Re,

Yes the slight over exposure works well. The land is very stark and it shows in the animal. It is a shame that so many people and animals face hunger everyday in these countries. We are truly blessed.

Hola, Javier!
Buen trabajo!
Hasta pronto!

YO Javier!!

i really think the black and white works well with this kind of landscape. Dry and rocky... It's a great expression of the cow and well positioned to the side of the frame allowing us to view the horizon.

Cheer

Yes Javier-

The overexposure in this scene helps the viewer to feel the heat and dryness of the African plains.

Nice perspective.

Hi Javier,

I will probably remain indifferent to the suffering of this cow;-) but I really like how you managed to present this burned piece of Earth in your photograph...cheers, arturo
