Photographer’s Note
continuing my postings on the masks feast from yesterday in Tirelli (dogon country)... some colorful dancers invoking old rituals from their animist origins wearing masks. from left to right, examples of the Yagulé ape mask and the hunter's mask. Only young male members of the community can participate in this danse rituals. still 40°C(over 100°F). a hot day to danse with such an attire,believe me;-)

I like the actions here. However, the sharpness is a bit wanting and it is quite busy. Not one of your strong shots.

With the note from you, this pic is a lot better than without...
I can clearly see the mask, but I agree a bit with manny about sharpness and that there is almost too much going on. There's nothing that draws the attention - a point of focus.
You've done better... ;)

have to say that this a very " my type of a photograph" what i mean is that i love it.youve given an informative note and the subjects are so interesting. dont you have some pics of them dancing as well????
i hardly get to see such photographs, except in national geographic ofcourse.
