Ségou is a city in south-central Mali, lying 235 kilometres northeast of Bamako on the River Niger. It was founded by the Bozo people in 1620, on a site about 10 kilometres from the present town. With 100,000 inhabitants, it is now the third largest city in Mali.

What more do I have to say Benny? This is just a great picture. You have taken this at a perfect time with the sun setting. This gives a great reflection on the lake. In my opinion, you couldn't of positioned these two boats better!

hello Benny,
beautiful minimalist shot, I find that the almost perfect symmetry works well to emphasise calm and peaceful evening, I like it a lot. the dark silhouettes look like drawings making the scene elegant and even delicate, it reminds me a little of Japanese paintings. excellent work, my compliments.

A wonderful sunsetimage,well composed with the sun between the two boats.Nice soft tones and I like the silhouette of the oposite shore.The image has a nice,very calm atmosphere.

Wow!! Good timing!! I have taken many sun set photos and understood how difficult to catch the right moment, since at such position, "he" goes down so quickly. I like the half sun and the reflection. However, I would prefer the sun in either side of the photo, instead of the middle :D
