[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
While waiting to cross the Niger river on a local car-ferry at sunset, I shot a few photos from the local vendors. They wait here to sell jewelry, souvenirs, food, mostly for the local travelers. She was bargaining and seems very concentrated on making her sale!

What a lovely portrait Eric. Her expression is so intense, the colours are just wonderful. I love it.

Great dof & focus. This has minimized possible problems of 'like' colours bleeding into each other. I also like the way the background colours are the same as the main subject (green & gold). The purple cloth in the background is mildly distracting.

Nice portrqait Eric. My be too central for me, but still i like the way she lookd toward something, not directly at you. the colors are nice, even if today I am looking at it on a diffeent screen not as good as the one I am used too.

it is a nice portrait, i really like those warm colors, and her pose is very interesting too - she is really thinking about sth... i'd play with levels in PS a bit, because now the picture is a bit grayish - sth like a fog, it can be fixed easily. anyway, very nice!

Lovely warm colours of a late afternoon in the desert. I like the textures in her handwoven hat. A very fine "at work" portrait.

Nice photo Eric. She does not look at all happy, but that is ok too. Nice and sharp and a good use of limited DOF. Here, I think the use of the warming filter has shifted the color a little too strongly to yellow and I would personally crop from the left to make this less centered, but it is a very good photo.

Beautiful portrait Eric !
The perfection of colour and DOF doing your work fantastic !
Congratulations !

I think this is a very good portrait, but I find the background is a bit busy. Good skin tone colour and depth of field is great.

Good shot. The softness ceate a nice somber mood. The colors compliment her skin. Compostion is uncenetered (different from your usual shots). Good work.

Wow, agreat portrait. Very good light and DOF. The hat looks like it belong to a different scene, but there is magic in this image. Very well done, Eric.

Beautiful photography, I like much the tone of the colors
