Photographer’s Note
This is a wall of a famous mosque in Djenne which is the biggest mud-brick building in the world. Its design is exquisite. Wooden spars sticking out are part of the building's frame but are also used when once a year people climb up to fix the mud facade.
In front of the mosque is a market.
