Enfants bozos de Sala au bord du Fleuve Niger - On voit sur la photo que ces enfants sont réellement très pauvres et dans le village, seulement 1 garçon va à l'école -

Bozos children from Sala at the edge of the Niger River - These children are really very very poor and in the vilage, only 1 boy is going to school

salut gaby, sad words for the morning but they are not covered in the image - people here look pretty happy, maybe a bit scared (the girl) but in general no evidence of great povertly could be seen, and the boat behind even says that the father has got a decent job;
surely it is just a photo disguise but your africa is always so cheerful, and surprisingly nice, gaby;

Ouf, il est encore vivant et bien vivant vu la qualité de la compo qu'il nous envoie!
Chouette triple portrait , bien complété par la ligne élancée de la pirogue sur le fleuve.

Sourires contradictoires, mais je pencherais pour un sourire triste des 2 enfants. Capture tout en couleur avec ce vert qui ressort pas mal de cet ensemble ocre. Merci Gaby, Al.

Salut Gabi,
I missed your entry today. Another nice composition, although the boat in the background gets a bit funny with the child in the midle. The colours and sharpness are very good as usual. What is not usual is the sad expressions of these poor children. Usually they are happy. A nice one to reflect about Africa situation in the world. Merci,

la similitude des yeux, des formes de visages c'est une garantie qu'ils sont Bozos de la même lignée ou tout au moins de même père ou éventuellement de même mère :-)))
Joli portrait de famille, des enfants sympas dans cette belle photos.

Such sad expressions on the children, perhaps expressing their unfortuantely difficult lives. But it's a beautifully exposed image, and it's nice that you included the boat and river as context (that's what makes so many of your portraits great!) A perfectionist would say that things should be positioned so that the boat does not appear to be coming out of the back of the woman's head. (Notice how I put my few negative words into someone else's mouth?) But that's a small matter for a great image. Regards, Ken.
