Photographer’s Note

This boy was working on our boat as a mate. Here he is down with malaria. A lot of kids are suffering and dying from this disease in Mali, and they do not go to fancy clinic as backpackers who caught it, but have to keep on working to support themselves.

wow, it's so strange there are no comments on this, especially when i opened it and saw the eyes on his shirt. the composition is a little bit clumsy, not as good as others of yours, but still, a very sad and compelling picture.

I like this as many of your photos.
I like the different plans of focus and all your notes so interesting and sometime touching (like this one).
