Photographer’s Note

I made this shot on the Niger river, before joioning the city of tombouctou. I loe tha color that the sky give to the water. The boat that you see there is very used in Mali where it is called "pinasse", it's a kind of bark used to travelling on the river, with a roof an da motor.

Great shot: interesting landscape, color and detail. This is a part of Africa that is rarely seen, even though the Niger is one of the great rivers of the world. Love the colors of the flag against the blue backdrop of sky and water. Another nice one, Amandine!

j'aime beaucoup cette photo; les couleurs sont magnifiques et la palette est large!
Il y à quelques chose de très apaisant dans cette image. Une présence humaine aurait peut-être encore amélioré sa beauté.
