Little actors on the beach at Cape Maclear, the biggest fishing village (10'000 inhabitants) in Malawi.

Lake Malawi (also known as Lake Nyasa, Lake Nyassa, Lake Niassa, and Lago Niassa in Mozambique) is the 3rd largest in Africa, 9th in the world. It's situated between Malawi of course, Mozambique and Tanzania.

Hi Pascal,

I think they don't have only white hands.. even they have pure white heart but the pity is that his hidden inside and with black skin... many see their skin but not their heart. Lovely capture and their eyes are very toching. well done. God bless them.

Salut Pascal,

Il y a beaucoup de vie sur ces portraits, ne serait ce que par la position et l attitude de ces 2 enfants.
Le traitement N&B est tres bon et convient tres bien a ce type d image. A priori tu as utilise le flash en fill-in (on le voit aux reflets dans les yeux), vu l eclairage en arriere plan, ca semblait bien necessaire.
Au final, une photo originale et vivante,

Little actors in fine grains.
How different and pleasant eyes, naive gazes...
And the white palm, as you point in your title, is the real actor, the flavour of this one of yours. Like Francine's gallery (faubry) i like how you jump between this and that, color to B&W, portrait to street.
But the children are always the children. You interact perfectly.

Lake Malawi. I didn't know about it, though I worked some times in Africa, though not in that part. Then again, I should have known about the 9th largest lake in the World :-). Just looked it up and now I know! ;-)
Nice double-portrait. I always like the horizontal layout for portraits. And black and white is a great choice here. Nice.

an engaging double portrait in beautiful black and white.The hand expresses the vulnerability of childhood.

Nice double portrait Pascal and the B&W works well here. I like the expression of the kid on the left, seems he is tryign so hard not to laugh

Chouette portrait en N&B où le contraste prononcé met en exergue cette main blanche au premier plan. J'aime bien ton traitement et le léger grain sur l'image.

Ces deux iraient bien avec ta série de gamans birmans. Ils sont trop mignons. Celui a gauche essayaient d'éviter que son nez coule ??? En tout cas cela donne une originalité car sa main cadre superbien son oeil. Les contrastes sont top.
